How We Started
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – Rehoboth Chapel, Nanaimo BC is one of the parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, a worldwide church commissioned by the Holy Spirit through a great man of God Pastor Josiah Akindayomi in Lagos, Nigeria in 1952. Ever since, the church has continued to grow in leaps and bounds with thousands of parishes worldwide, under the visionary leadership of Pastor E.A Adeboye, the current general overseer.
RCCG foundation is laid on Jesus Christ who is our chief corner stone and the word of life. We believe in the biblical doctrines of Jesus Christ with the emphasis on the importance and efficacy of holiness which is the source of power to live a happy and successful Christian life . We focus our teaching on the undiluted word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. So that solution can be found and destinies fulfilled.
RCCG REHOBOTH CHAPEL NANAIMO is a Multiracial and Multicultural Christian gathering helping to bring solution to live challenges and helping to fulfill destiny by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is a church that exhibit Practical love of God to all races and cultures.

Our Vision & Mission
The vision statement of The Redeemed Christian Church of God as received by the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God worldwide and communicated to its headquarters and every church in the denomination are as follows:
1) To make heaven.
2) To take as many people with us.
3) To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations.
4) To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle.
5) To accomplish No. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.
6) We will pursue these objectives until every Nation in the world is reached for the Lord Jesus Christ
